Montenegro

Our adventure in Montenegro began with a scenic flight from Gatwick Airport in England to Podgorica, where we were greeted by the breathtaking sight of mountains and lakes from the plane window—an excellent start to our trip.

Having recently learned some Croatian, we were relieved to discover that Montenegrin is similar enough to be understood, which made navigating the country much easier. We enjoyed the local cuisine and appreciated the unique vibe of Podgorica, a young and evolving capital city with its own charm.

But the highlight of our trip was undoubtedly taking a bus to Kotor. The beauty of the Bay of Kotor and its dramatic landscapes left us in awe, making it an unforgettable part of our Montenegro journey.
